1inch Distances Itself as TrustedVolumes Reports $6.7M Crypto Exploit

TrustedVolumes, a resolver used in 1inch Fusion, has confirmed it was exploited, with approximately $6.7 million in stolen funds now distributed across three Ethereum wallets.

According to the firm, two of the wallets each hold around $3 million, while a third contains roughly $700,000. TrustedVolumes has also indicated it is open to discussing a bug bounty and potentially reaching a resolution with the attacker.

Meanwhile, 1inch has pushed back on reports linking the incident to its own systems, stressing that neither its infrastructure nor user funds were affected.

Co-founder Sergej Kunz said TrustedVolumes operates independently and represents only one of several resolvers used within the 1inch Fusion ecosystem. He added that framing the exploit as a 1inch issue is inaccurate and misleading. The company is currently monitoring the situation and has signaled it may assist if needed.
