a16z-Linked Whale Accumulates 3.17M HYPE Since April With Latest $15.2M Buy

A whale wallet linked to Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) has continued to build its position in Hyperliquid (HYPE), adding another 261,250 tokens worth $15.2 million in the past hour.

This latest move extends an accumulation phase that started on April 14, during which the investor has steadily increased holdings to a total of 3.17 million HYPE tokens. Across this period, total spending has reached roughly $148.5 million, with an average purchase price of $46.8 per token.

As the position continues to grow, it now stands at approximately $33 million in unrealized gains.
