Aerodrome, the largest decentralized exchange in the Base ecosystem, is preparing to launch its Predictive Allocation mechanism in July, marking a notable change in how liquidity incentives are distributed across the protocol.
Instead of relying on past performance, the new model will reward users based on their ability to anticipate future liquidity needs. Those who make accurate predictions are expected to receive a larger share of protocol revenue, shifting participation toward forward-looking decision-making.
The system is designed to blend features of prediction markets and automated market makers, aiming to allocate liquidity incentives according to expected demand rather than historical trading activity.
