Arthur Hayes Responds to ZachXBT’s Allegations: I Never Told Followers to Copy My Trades or Buy Altcoins

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes has responded to allegations raised by ZachXBT in a Cointelegraph interview, where it was suggested that Hayes had expressed bullish sentiment on certain altcoins before later exiting his positions, with critics arguing this may have left some followers serving as exit liquidity.

Addressing the claims, Hayes denied directing market activity or encouraging others to trade based on his commentary. He emphasized that he has never issued buy or sell instructions for any asset and reiterated that he does not act as a financial advisor.

He added that his public posts are meant solely to reflect his own portfolio movements. Hayes concluded by stating that individuals should conduct their own research and make independent decisions when interpreting any information he shares.
