Bankless Founders Split on Whether ETH Should Track Ethereum Growth

Bankless co-founder Ryan Sean Adams argued that it does not make sense to be bullish on Ethereum while doubting ETH’s prospects, saying the network cannot be considered fully successful unless the ETH token itself evolves into a global store of value.

However, co-founder David Hoffman offered a contrasting view, explaining that Ethereum is structured to limit direct value capture. He also noted that a clear, proven pathway linking Ethereum’s overall growth to sustained value accrual for ETH has not yet been established.
