Changpeng Zhao, founder of Binance, said in an interview with Crypto In America that he was initially skeptical about both real-world assets (RWA) and stablecoins.
However, he noted that the RWA sector has expanded rapidly since its emergence roughly a year and a half ago. In the same discussion, he also pointed out that stablecoins, an area he was doubtful about roughly a decade ago, have now grown into a market valued at around $200 billion.
Expanding on these trends, CZ referenced SpaceX as an example of how even mature technologies can continue to generate new opportunities, suggesting a similar dynamic is at play within the crypto industry.
