
Crypto market maker Wintermute cautioned that Bitcoin’s recent rebound from just above $60,000 does not necessarily signal a durable market bottom, as key indicators such as ETF and stablecoin flows have yet to show a meaningful recovery.
Against that backdrop, the firm said Bitcoin could remain volatile amid typically thin summer trading conditions. Wintermute also warned that the cryptocurrency could still retreat toward the $50,000 range unless stronger and more sustained capital inflows return.
