Bitcoin Holder Recovers 5 BTC Using Claude AI After 11 Years

A Bitcoin holder known as “cprkrn” on X said in an interview with MTS on Wednesday that he has regained access to 5 BTC, worth about $320,000, after being locked out of his wallet for 11 years. He credited the recovery to his use of Anthropic’s AI assistant Claude, which he used to review old files associated with the wallet.

He explained that the AI helped him sort through archived data and identify a forgotten password combination, which ultimately enabled him to unlock the wallet and recover the funds.
