
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao said on the Crypto Banter podcast that he continues to dedicate about 80%–90% of his time to the blockchain industry, highlighting his sustained focus on the space. He also stated that Bitcoin remains the dominant digital asset, with no clear competitor currently challenging its position.
Building on this, he addressed the slow emergence of major blockchain “killer apps,” pointing to years of strong regulatory pressure that, in his view, limited their development.
Looking ahead, Zhao added that future AI agent micropayments are likely to depend on blockchain infrastructure, including Bitcoin layer-2 solutions or centralized enterprise chains.
