Bitcoin Whale Closes $100 Million Short Position With $5.28M Profit

A major crypto whale, identified as “0xcf9,” has closed a 763 BTC short position valued at approximately $100.15 million, locking in a realized profit of around $5.28 million after holding the trade for 36 days.

The position was opened on June 2 when Bitcoin was trading at $68,859 and closed at $62,314, allowing the trader to capitalize on the price decline over the holding period.
