Garrett Jin, co-founder of the now-defunct cryptocurrency exchange BitForex, has placed limit orders to open short positions totaling over $36 million in Zcash (ZEC), while simultaneously adding to his exposure in Hyperliquid (HYPE).

This activity follows closely after Jin transferred $30 million in USDC into Hyperliquid, suggesting the recent capital deposit was quickly put to use in his latest trading positions.
