BitMine Set for Russell 1000 Inclusion With 4.88 Million ETH Staked

BitMine, the world’s largest corporate Ethereum treasury company, announced that its BMNR shares are set to join the Russell 1000 Index on June 26. As of June 22, the company reported holding 5.673 million ETH, along with $601 million in cash and marketable securities, $350 million in BMNP preferred stock, no outstanding debt, and an annualized staking yield of approximately $233 million.

In a related development, blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain reported that BitMine recently staked an additional 160,480 ETH, valued at about $248.7 million. With this latest transaction, the company has increased its total staked Ethereum to 4.88 million ETH, worth roughly $7.56 billion and representing about 86% of its overall ETH holdings.
