Canton Network Creator Seeks $2B Valuation in New $300M Funding Round

Digital Asset Holdings, the company behind the permissioned blockchain network Canton Network, is reportedly seeking to raise new capital at a valuation of around $2 billion.

According to Bloomberg, the firm is in the process of securing a $300 million funding round led by venture capital firm a16z crypto, with the deal expected to close in the coming weeks.

The latest fundraising effort follows a $135 million strategic round announced less than a year ago, which included participation from Tradeweb Markets and DRW Venture Capital.
