cbETH Hits 5-Month Peak in Whale Transactions, Santiment Reports

Data from Santiment indicates a sharp rise in large-holder activity in Coinbase Wrapped Staked ETH (cbETH), which recorded 185 transactions exceeding $100,000 in a single day—its highest whale activity since January 9.

This surge in high-value transfers emerged as crypto markets were nearing a local bottom. In the period that followed, cbETH’s price began to stabilize and then posted a modest recovery, moving in step with the shift in on-chain activity.
