Chaos Labs, a crypto risk management and infrastructure provider, confirmed that its Chaos Oracle Network remained secure after detecting a hacking attempt over the weekend, which it believes was linked to a possible nation-state actor. Founder Omer Goldberg said the company immediately activated a full lockdown after identifying the incident.
According to Goldberg, the attack was limited to operational wallets used for routine blockchain activities, while the oracle network itself was never breached. He added that the infrastructure operates in isolated environments with globally distributed nodes and multiple layers of cryptographic protection.
Authorities and cybersecurity experts are continuing to investigate the incident, with further updates expected as the inquiry progresses.
