Charles Hoskinson Addresses Asset Dispute, Says 1,096 BTC Covered Audit Costs

Distressed-asset crypto investor Thomas Braziel said that during an AMA, Charles Hoskinson explained that 1,096 BTC held by the Isle of Man Foundation, valued at about $70 million at current market prices, were reportedly spent between 2016 and 2017 to address issues involving Michael Parsons and the project's initial audit review.

Following those comments, Braziel called for the publication of invoices, approvals, agreements, and payment records to provide a clearer account of how the BTC was used, who received the funds, and the reasons behind the payments.

Beyond the BTC explanation, Braziel also questioned the broader allocation of project funds, arguing that IOHK ultimately retained control of roughly 95% of the Bitcoin collected in the fundraising process and was granted a large ADA stake. In contrast, the Foundation received a comparatively smaller share.
