Circle’s USYC Becomes World’s Largest Tokenized Money Market Fund with $3B+ AUM

Circle said its USYC fund has now grown to more than $3 billion in assets under management, placing it at the top of the global market for tokenized money market funds. The achievement underscores the rapid growth of tokenized cash-equivalent products and the expanding role of on-chain assets as collateral across digital financial markets.

USYC brings traditional money market exposure onto the blockchain by tokenizing shares of a regulated fund, allowing institutions to access and transfer yield-generating assets in a fully on-chain format. The fund invests mainly in short-dated U.S. Treasury securities and repurchase agreements collateralized by U.S. government debt instruments.
