Irish police are reportedly transferring Bitcoin linked to Clifton Collins, the Irish honeymaker turned drug dealer, who originally bought around $30,000 worth of BTC between 2011 and 2012. Over time, those holdings grew significantly in value, reaching an estimated $400 million, although Collins later lost access to the wallet’s private keys before being imprisoned.
After remaining inactive for nearly a decade, the wallet unexpectedly became active again. Last month, roughly 500 BTC were moved for the first time in years, followed by another transfer of the same amount—valued at about $38 million—on May 19, 2026. In total, around 1,000 BTC, worth approximately $73 million, has been transferred so far this year.
