The Ethereum Foundation has dissolved its Protocol Support team, signaling a shift in the way Ethereum’s core development efforts are organized.

The team previously handled a range of responsibilities, including coordinating core developer meetings, monitoring network upgrades, supporting Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), and managing the Ethereum Protocol Fellowship program. It also contributed to related education, community, and infrastructure initiatives.

The decision comes as the foundation undergoes broader internal restructuring, including recent changes to teams and personnel.
