Ethereum Foundation Reports Progress on Glamsterdam Upgrade, Announces Leadership Changes

Ethereum Foundation has published its May 2026 Protocol Cluster update, noting steady advancement in testing efforts and continued preparation for the upcoming Glamsterdam upgrade.

The update also details a reshuffle in Protocol Cluster leadership. Barnabé Monnot and Tim Beiko are stepping away from their roles, while Alex Stokes will be taking a sabbatical. In their place, Will Corcoran, Fredrik, and Kev Wedderburn will assume responsibilities as the new Protocol Cluster leads.
