Ethereum Whale Loses $12.7M After Transferring 43,000 ETH to Binance

A crypto wallet labeled “0x55C1” has moved 43,235 ETH, worth about $74.68 million, back to Binance roughly an hour ago.

This latest move comes months after the same address had originally withdrawn 44,233 ETH, valued at roughly $88.02 million, from the exchange on February 7, when Ethereum was trading near $2,100.

Since ETH is now priced around $1,747, the overall position reflects an estimated loss of about $12.7 million.

Despite the latest transfer, the wallet still retains a significant holding, with 43,562 ETH remaining staked, valued at around $75.41 million.
