F2Pool Co-Founder Wang Chun to Join Starship’s First Crewed Mission to Mars

Wang Chun, co-founder of Bitcoin mining pool F2Pool and commander of the Fram2 mission, is set to take part in Starship’s first crewed mission to Mars. The ambitious two-year journey will travel beyond the Earth-Moon system, perform a flyby of Mars, and return to Earth.

Ahead of the Mars mission, Wang will first join Akiko Tito and Dennis Tito aboard Starship’s first planned commercial flight around the Moon. The week-long circumlunar trip is expected to pass within 200 kilometers of the lunar surface, helping test and refine Starship’s systems for future long-duration deep-space missions.
