Galaxy Digital Flags Seven Democrats as Swing Votes on CLARITY Act

Crypto firm Galaxy Digital says seven Democratic senators on the U.S. Senate Banking Committee could play a decisive role in advancing the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act as it moves toward a markup session on Thursday, ahead of a potential full Senate vote.

In a post on X on Sunday, the firm highlighted Senators Angela Alsobrooks and Ruben Gallego as supportive of a broader crypto regulatory framework. It also identified four other Democratic senators as potential “deal-makers,” while one was described as holding mixed positions on the legislation.

Galaxy Digital added that Democratic backing during the markup stage could significantly strengthen the bill’s prospects of advancing out of committee and reaching the Senate floor for a final vote.
