Garret Jin Expands Zcash Short Amid $16.9M Bitcoin Loss

Garret Jin, the founder of the now-defunct BitForex exchange, has expanded his short position on Zcash to 32,759.57 ZEC, bringing its total value to approximately $14.9 million.

The trade was initiated at an entry price of $444 and carries a liquidation level of $2,034.91. With Zcash trading close to $447.79, the position is currently showing an unrealized loss of about $124,030.

In parallel, Jin is also maintaining a 5x-leveraged long position in Bitcoin, which remains under pressure with an unrealized loss exceeding $16.91 million.
