Garret Jin Restarts HYPE Accumulation With $5.06M Buy as Token Trades Near All-Time High

BitForex founder Garret Jin has resumed accumulating Hyperliquid, buying 71,092 HYPE tokens worth around $5.06 million. His TWAP order is still active, indicating that additional purchases are likely ongoing.

This renewed accumulation comes as HYPE holds near recent highs, currently trading about 5.6% below its all-time peak of $76.70 set on June 16. Despite the slight pullback, the token has still posted a 30% gain over the past week.

In parallel with his HYPE activity, Jin maintains substantial perpetual futures positions across major assets, including 1,268.33 Bitcoin (approximately $81.7 million), 50,013 Zcash ($23.87 million), and 581,241 Uniswap ($1.88 million).
