GoMining Uses Stratum V2 Job Declaration to Mine Bitcoin Block

GoMining has revealed that it contributed to the successful mining of a Bitcoin block on the DMND pool, utilizing Stratum V2’s Job Declaration system, which changes how block-building tasks are coordinated.

With this setup, control over building the block template shifted to the miner rather than the mining pool, allowing the miner to choose which transactions were included, including prioritizing those from GoBTC Pay.

The company described the outcome as a demonstration of miner-directed block building and a sign of the increasing use of Stratum V2 across mining operations.
