Humanity Protocol Confirms Private Key Compromise, Warns Users to Avoid Bridge

Humanity Protocol is investigating a security incident after compromised private keys tied to a member of the Humanity Foundation were identified, founder Terence Kwok said. As a precautionary measure, the project has advised users not to interact with its bridge and liquidity pools while a full security assessment is underway.

The team stated that it is coordinating with security professionals and exchange partners to contain the issue, determine its scope, and strengthen platform protections.

However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain uncertain. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT said it is not yet clear whether the event was the result of a theft or connected to a market maker. He also drew attention to the concentrated distribution of the H token supply, suggesting that this factor may have influenced perceptions of the incident and the way it has been described.
