ICE and OKX Launch Joint Venture to Build Tokenized Market Infrastructure

NYSE parent Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and OKX said they will establish an equal joint venture to develop infrastructure supporting tokenized markets and digital-native financial instruments.

If approved by regulators, the venture is expected to operate as a U.S.-registered broker-dealer and futures commission merchant (FCM), while also enabling access to NYSE-linked tokenized equities alongside ICE futures markets.

In addition, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has been named co-chair of the joint venture.
