LINE NEXT said it will launch its Unifi Pay platform globally in the third quarter and has opened pre-registration for developers as it prepares for the wider rollout.
The payment service is built on the Unifi stablecoin wallet and supports USDT, IDRP, and JPYC. As part of the launch, users in Indonesia and Japan will be able to top up IDRP or JPYC directly from their bank accounts after completing online identity verification.
The company said Unifi Pay is designed to offer fee-free payments with an average settlement time of about one second. It also includes a software development kit (SDK) that enables developers to build payment pages in about 10 minutes, simplifying integration for businesses.
LINE NEXT added that the platform's beta version processed 100 billion KRW in transaction volume over the past year.
