Monad Co-Founder Says Echo Protocol’s eBTC Incident Under Investigation, Network Unaffected

Monad co-founder Keone Hon confirmed on X that security researchers are currently investigating an incident involving Echo Protocol’s eBTC on the Monad network.

He further stated that the review is still in progress, with early estimates indicating that around $816,000 may have been lost due to the exploit targeting Echo Protocol’s eBTC system. Meanwhile, it has been clarified that the Monad network itself remains unaffected and continues to operate normally.
