Oasis Founder Dawn Song Joins Meta to Lead AI Safety Research at Superintelligence Labs

Dawn Song, a UC Berkeley professor and founder of Oasis Labs, has been named Vice President of AI Research at Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL), where she will lead efforts in AI Safety and AI Security. Alongside her appointment, several core members of Virtue AI are also joining Meta, strengthening the team’s research group.

Song previously established Oasis Labs, the company behind the privacy-focused blockchain project ROSE. The project secured $45 million in funding from investors, including Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) Crypto, Binance Labs, Accel, Pantera Capital, and Polychain Capital.

ROSE is currently trading at about $0.006, marking a roughly 99% drop from its peak value of $0.596.
