Oman Launches Omanhash as National Bitcoin Mining Pool

Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology has partnered with Frontier Technologies to launch Omanhash, the country’s official Bitcoin mining pool.

Under the country’s crypto mining regulations, Omanhash will serve as the exclusive platform for licensed mining operators, requiring all approved miners to connect through the pool. The pool is expected to begin operations with approximately 10 EH/s of hashrate.

The initiative reflects Oman’s broader push to expand its digital infrastructure, following investments exceeding $700 million in mining and data center projects since 2022.
