
A recent survey of 2,035 U.S. adults shows that cryptocurrency policy plays a very limited role in voting decisions, with only 4% saying a candidate’s position on crypto would significantly affect their choice at the ballot box.
When respondents were asked about the issues they want Congress to focus on, their priorities were centered elsewhere. Affordable housing, stronger protections against consumer fraud, and lower bank fees emerged as the top concerns.
In comparison, just 18% of those surveyed identified regulation of cryptocurrency markets as a key legislative priority. That figure was only slightly higher than the 17% who pointed to oversight of large banking institutions.
