Ready Card Suspends USDC Card Use Outside EEA After Issuer Change

Ready Card has announced that its cards will be disabled within the next hour following changes made by its card-issuing service provider. The disruption is expected to have its greatest impact on cards used outside the European Economic Area.

The company added that, despite this update, user accounts and stored assets will remain secure. It emphasized that only card functionality will be impacted, with no changes to balances or wallet access.

Ready Card operates as a self-custodial crypto wallet and card platform that supports USDC payments and on-chain yield products, while also developing smart contract wallets within the Starknet ecosystem.
