Ripple has secured full authorization under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA), after receiving approval from Luxembourg’s financial regulator, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier.
The approval follows a preliminary authorization granted in June, marking the completion of Ripple’s regulatory approval process in Luxembourg.
With the license now finalized, Ripple is permitted to offer regulated crypto asset services across all 30 countries in the European Economic Area.
The company also said the latest authorization adds to its global compliance portfolio, which now exceeds 75 regulatory licenses worldwide.
