Sui to Introduce Private On-Chain Payments This Year

Sui co-founder Adeniyi Abiodun has announced that the network will roll out confidential transfers later this year, as shared in a post on X.

The upcoming feature is expected to strengthen payment privacy by hiding transaction amounts. At the same time, it will preserve core network security by ensuring that unauthorized token minting remains impossible by design.
