Tether-Backed Oobit Rolls Out USDT to 170 Million Pix Users in Brazil

Tether-supported payments app Oobit has launched USDT integration with Brazil’s Pix network, extending stablecoin access to nearly 170 million users of the instant payment system.

The new feature allows customers to convert local currency into USDT and transfer funds between self-custody crypto wallets and bank accounts. In addition to Pix, the service supports transactions through ACH, SEPA, SPEI, and Instapay, broadening payment and transfer options across both banking and digital asset networks.
