Tether Freezes $515 Million Across Ethereum and Tron in Major Compliance Sweep

According to BlockSec’s USDT Freeze Tracker data dated May 7, 2026, Tether blacklisted 371 crypto addresses over the past 30 days across the Ethereum and Tron networks.

Most of the activity occurred on Tron, which accounted for 329 of the flagged addresses, while 42 were linked to Ethereum. In total, approximately $515 million in assets were frozen—about $506 million on Tron and $8.73 million on Ethereum.
