The Lab (LAB) has removed 10 million tokens from circulation in a burn event valued at approximately $11.3 million, according to blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain.

The burn comes as LAB experiences significant price volatility following a sharp decline from its recent record high. The token surged to an all-time peak of $27.48 last month but has since fallen substantially, with prices now trading around $1.16 after the downturn began on July 6.

The token’s recent performance has also drawn attention from the wider cryptocurrency community, where concerns and allegations regarding potential price manipulation have continued to circulate.
