TON Ecosystem Renames Native Token to Gram

Telegram founder Pavel Durov has announced that the TON ecosystem’s native token will be rebranded from TON to Gram, with the transition expected to be completed over the next three weeks.

As part of the rollout, wallets, ecosystem applications, and infrastructure providers will gradually update the token’s name across their platforms.

While the token will adopt the new Gram branding, the underlying blockchain will remain unchanged and will continue to operate under the name The Open Network (TON).
