Wells Fargo Expands Stakes in Major Ethereum ETFs, SEC Filing Shows

Wells Fargo increased its holdings in Ethereum exchange-traded funds, according to its Q1 2026 SEC 13F filing.

In particular, the bank significantly expanded its position in iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), with shares moving from about 672,600 in Q4 2025 to roughly 1.1 million in Q1 2026, representing a 63.5% increase.

Meanwhile, its stake in the Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW) also rose 37% to approximately 257,000 shares, rounding out the firm’s expanded ETF allocation.
